{"id":95565,"date":"2026-04-09T13:35:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T11:35:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/congopubonline.com\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=95565"},"modified":"2026-04-09T13:35:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T11:35:20","slug":"directeur-directrice-de-projet","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/congopubonline.com\/?jobpost=directeur-directrice-de-projet","title":{"rendered":"Directeur\/Directrice de Projet"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>Intitul\u00e9 du poste<\/td><td><strong>Directeur\/Directrice de Projet<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>R\u00e9f\u00e9rences<\/td><td>JR44698<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Date de publication<\/td><td>05 Avril 2026<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Date de limite<\/td><td>25 avril 2026<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Lieu d\u2019affectation<\/td><td>Kolwezi<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Organisme ou soci\u00e9t\u00e9<\/td><td>World Vision<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Type de contrat<\/td><td>Autres<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Adresse email pour soumissionner<\/td><td><a href=\"mailto:careers@wvi.org\">careers@wvi.org<\/a><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide overall strategic leadership, coordination, and supervision of all project activities and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the project achieves its goals and outcomes, including policy improvement, labor monitoring and identification, enforcement support, and remediation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with USDOL\/ILAB, government stakeholders, local partners, and the private sector to ensure high-level engagement and ownership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee the development and execution of project workplans, monitoring plans, and technical strategies in coordination with technical and operational staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain timely and high-quality reporting to USDOL, including technical progress reports and financial updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team and manage partner relationships to ensure a cohesive and adaptive implementation approach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure integration of cross-cutting themes including social inclusion and conflict sensitivity into all project activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead coordination with the Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Welfare (MELSS), Ministry of Mines (MINES), Ministry of Gender, Family and Children (MGFE), and the Interministerial Commission to Combat Child Labor in Mines and Artisanal Mining Sites (CISTEMA), as well as provincial authorities to support institutionalization of labor protections in mining areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent the project in national, regional, and international forums on child labor, forced labor, and supply chain accountability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in international development, labor relations, public policy, law, project management, or related field; or, 5 years or more of related work experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of\u00a0<strong>7\u00a0<\/strong>(<strong>seven)\u00a0<\/strong>years of experience in project leadership, management, supervision, administration, and implementation of cooperative agreement and\/or contract requirements (including meeting deadlines, achieving targets, establishing and maintaining systems for managing project operations, and overseeing the preparation and submission of required reports to donor agencies), preferably in the DRC.\u00a0 Eight (8) to ten (10) years or more of leadership experience is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience managing ILAB-funded projects or other publicly-funded projects focused on labor rights, child protection, or supply chains.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated experience in labor rights enforcement, child labor and\/or forced labor prevention, and policy reform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of mining sector dynamics and labor governance challenges in fragile or resource-rich settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience engaging with national and subnational governments, particularly labor inspectorates, ministries, and local authorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience establishing and maintaining systems for managing project operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with designing and implementing results-based monitoring systems for projects focused on capacity building.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated experience as an effective public speaker.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fluent written and spoken English required<\/strong>;\u00a0<strong>French fluency strongly preferred<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DRC nationals are strongly encouraged to apply<\/strong>. Open to international candidates with relevant experience in the region.
