Xiao Jianhua \u00e9tait \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque de son arrestation l&rsquo;un des hommes les plus riches de Chine, avec une fortune estim\u00e9e \u00e0 six milliards de dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Xiao Jianhua a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnu coupable de \u00ab&nbsp;<em>d\u00e9tournement de fonds publics<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb et \u00ab&nbsp;<em>utilisation ill\u00e9gale de fonds<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 dans un communiqu\u00e9 le Tribunal interm\u00e9diaire num\u00e9ro 1 de Shanghai, o\u00f9 l&rsquo;homme d&rsquo;affaires \u00e9tait jug\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sa disparition en 2017 avait suscit\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9moi \u00e0 Hong Kong. R\u00e9put\u00e9 proche des hauts dirigeants communistes chinois, il avait, selon des informations de presse, \u00e9t\u00e9 enlev\u00e9 par des agents de P\u00e9kin. Depuis, peu d&rsquo;informations avaient filtr\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;affaire et les autorit\u00e9s chinoises gardaient le silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Une campagne anti-corruption lanc\u00e9e en 2012<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;enqu\u00eate visant&nbsp;<strong>Xiao Jianhua<\/strong>&nbsp;semble s&rsquo;inscrire dans le cadre de la vaste campagne anti-corruption lanc\u00e9e par le pr\u00e9sident chinois Xi Jinping \u00e0 son arriv\u00e9e au pouvoir en 2012. L&rsquo;enl\u00e8vement pr\u00e9sum\u00e9 de Xiao Jianhua&nbsp;\u00e0 Hong Kong s&rsquo;\u00e9tait produit \u00e0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 les agents de Chine continentale n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 agir dans le territoire semi-autonome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, certains redoutaient que des habitants de la ville puissent ainsi \u00eatre emmen\u00e9s de force en Chine continentale voisine, o\u00f9 la justice est en grande partie soumise au Parti communiste au pouvoir.
