En RDC, la situation \u00e0 l\u2019Est du pays marqu\u00e9e par des affrontements intenses entre les forces loyalistes des FARDC et les rebelles du M23 pr\u00e9occupe l\u2019opinion tant nationale qu\u2019internationale. Macky Sall, le pr\u00e9sident en exercice de l’Union Africaine, et le pr\u00e9sident de la Commission de l’Union Africaine, Moussa Faki Mahamat se disent \u00ab extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9occup\u00e9e \u00bb par la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration de la situation s\u00e9curitaire dans l’Est de la RDC.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans un communiqu\u00e9 conjoint sign\u00e9 le 30 octobre 2022, l\u2019UA a exprim\u00e9 \u00ab appelle toutes les parties \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un cessez-le-feu imm\u00e9diat, \u00e0 respecter le droit international, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des civils et la stabilit\u00e9 aux fronti\u00e8res de tous les pays de la r\u00e9gion \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Ils exhortent en outre, toutes les parties prenantes \u00e0 s’engager dans un Dialogue constructif, dans le cadre du m\u00e9canisme existant, le Cadre de paix, de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de coop\u00e9ration de l’Union africaine pour la RDC et la r\u00e9gion, et du Dialogue de paix inter-congolais de la Communaut\u00e9 d’Afrique de l’Est \u00bb, selon les termes du communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En outre, l’UA exprime son \u00ab soutien total \u00e0 la Feuille de route de Luanda visant \u00e0 normaliser les relations politiques entre la RDC et le Rwanda\u00a0\u00bb et encourage le pr\u00e9sident angolais \u00ab\u00a0Joao Louren\u00e7o \u00e0 poursuivre sa mission en tant que Facilitateur d\u2019un dialogue constructif entre les deux pays fr\u00e8res, la RDC et le Rwanda \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notons que le gouvernement congolais a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 samedi 29 octobre d\u2019expulser Vincent Karega, ambassadeur rwandais en poste \u00e0 Kinshasa. Les autorit\u00e9s congolaises disent avoir des rapports \u00e9manant notamment des drones qui d\u00e9montreraient l\u2019arriv\u00e9e massive des troupes rwandaises sur le sol congolais. Cela pour appuyer le mouvement rebelle du M23. Celui-ci a conquis samedi la cit\u00e9 de Rutshuru Centre et celle de Kiwanja, provoquant des milliers de nouveaux d\u00e9plac\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
