Le Programme \u00e9largi de vaccination (PEV) lance un appel \u00e0 la population pour qu\u2019elle observe les mesures d\u2019hygi\u00e8ne afin d\u2019arr\u00eater la progression de cette maladie.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces informations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fournies mardi 8 novembre au cours de la r\u00e9union d\u2019\u00e9valuation des pr\u00e9paratifs de la campagne de riposte contre la poliomy\u00e9lite qui sera organis\u00e9e tr\u00e8s prochainement.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u2019apr\u00e8s le m\u00e9decin chef d\u2019antenne du PEV, le premier cas de diarrh\u00e9e et vomissement a \u00e9t\u00e9 notifi\u00e9 le 30 octobre et depuis, plus de trente autres cas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s et deux personnes en sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cinq \u00e9chantillons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9s au laboratoire de Lubumbashi et tous ont \u00e9t\u00e9 positifs au cholera. Mais jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce jour l\u2019\u00e9pid\u00e9mie n\u2019est pas encore d\u00e9clar\u00e9e officiellement par l\u2019autorit\u00e9 urbaine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un centre de traitement de cholera est \u00e9rig\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence Daco. Ce centre a \u00e9t\u00e9 dot\u00e9 d\u2019intrants aussi bien&nbsp;par le minist\u00e8re provincial de la sant\u00e9 du Haut-Katanga que&nbsp;par l\u2019Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9 (OMS).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si les premiers cas ne provenaient que de quelques quartiers des communes de Likasi et de Kikula, pour l\u2019instant les malades proviennent de toutes les quatre communes de cette ville montagneuse.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour certains habitants de Likasi, cette maladie a refait surface avec la tomb\u00e9e des pluies. Ils redoutent qu\u2019elle ne se propage car, pour se rendre au centre de traitement, les malades sont transport\u00e9s \u00e0 moto avec tout le risque de contamination.
