C\u2019\u00e9tait lors du d\u00eener de gala de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de l\u2019Africa Financial Industry Summit (AFIS). Ancien ministre des Finances et de la Planification \u00e9conomique du Rwanda, l\u2019on lui attribue une grande part dans le maintien de la stabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9conomie rwandaise et de son secteur financier. Le prix de champion de la finance en Afrique (Africa Champion), lui, revient au Groupe Sunu, une entreprise panafricaine de services financiers cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1998 par Path\u00e9 Dione et dont le chiffre d\u2019affaires est de plus de 190 milliards Fcfa. Le holding d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent dans 16 pays africains et qui poursuit son d\u00e9veloppement est devenu, en juillet 2022, l\u2019actionnaire majoritaire de la Banque internationale de commerce internationale du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, gr\u00e2ce au rachat des 54,12 % du fran\u00e7ais BNP Paribas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le jury des AFIS Awards 2022 a d\u00e9cern\u00e9 le prix du leadership f\u00e9minin (Woman Leader) \u00e0 la Nig\u00e9riane Kanayo Awani, vice-pr\u00e9sident de la banque d\u2019import-export Afreximbank, qui est en premi\u00e8re ligne de front dans la mise en place de la Zone de libre-\u00e9change continentale africaine (Zlecaf). Elle est par ailleurs, depuis juillet 2022,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>vice-pr\u00e9sidente ex\u00e9cutive de la Banque du commerce intra-africain (INAT). La plateforme de services financiers mobiles pour les op\u00e9rateurs de r\u00e9seaux mobiles et les banques Jumo, remporte le prix \u00ab Disrupter of the year \u00bb, qui r\u00e9compense l\u2019innovation sur le continent. Ce major de la Fintech sur le continent poursuit son expansion et projetait, pour 2022, de porter son volume de cr\u00e9dits accord\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie de 29 \u00e0 40 milliards de dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ex-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d\u2019Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), Ade Ayeyemi, pour sa part, \u00e0 re\u00e7u le prix \u00ab Hall of Excellence), qui r\u00e9compense une personnalit\u00e9 du secteur financier pour l\u2019ensemble de sa carri\u00e8re. \u00ab L\u2019une des ambitions d\u2019AFIS est de contribuer au d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un secteur financier de classe mondiale. Les cinq vainqueurs des AFIS Awards 2022 illustrent \u00e0 merveille le professionnalisme et l\u2019expertise dont le continent a besoin \u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 Ramatoulaye Goudiaby, directrice AFIS chez Jeune Afrique Media Group, promoteur de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fond\u00e9e par le groupe Jeune Afrique Media en 2021, avec le soutien de l\u2019IFC (Groupe de la Banque mondiale), l\u2019AFIS est une organisation s\u0153ur de l\u2019Africa CEO Forum, la principale plateforme du secteur priv\u00e9 africain.
