Le camerounais est all\u00e9 non seulement pr\u00e9senter au chef de l\u2019Etat le nouveau Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d\u2019Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), le Kenyan Jeremy Awori, qui, jusqu\u2019au mois de septembre 2022, tr\u00f4nait \u00e0 la t\u00eate d\u2019Absa Bank Kenya ; mais aussi lui r\u00e9it\u00e9rer la volont\u00e9 de son institution bancaire de renforcer son partenariat avec le Togo afin d\u2019accompagner le gouvernement de ce pays dans sa politique de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique. \u00ab Nous avons abord\u00e9 avec le chef de l\u2019Etat, le partenariat entre Ecobank Transnational Incorporated et le Togo. Nous avons une relation continue, fluide et importante avec le Togo qui abrite le si\u00e8ge social d\u2019Ecobank et l\u2019essentiel de notre management. Nous voudrions plus que jamais jouer un r\u00f4le d\u2019apporteur de capital et d\u2019appui \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie togolaise qui se porte bien au regard de tout ce qui se passe dans la r\u00e9gion \u00bb, a soulign\u00e9 Francis Alain Nkontchou au sortir de l\u2019audience au palais pr\u00e9sidentiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Holding bancaire panafricaine fond\u00e9e en 1985 au Togo, Ecobank s\u2019\u00e9tait fix\u00e9 pour objectif d\u00e8s sa cr\u00e9ation, de contribuer au d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9gration financi\u00e8re du continent africain. C\u2019est la deuxi\u00e8me banque la plus importante au Togo, avec un total bilan de 557 milliards Fcfa en 2021. L\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re Ecobank \u00e9tait class\u00e9e troisi\u00e8me dans le ranking des institutions bancaires qui octroient le plus de cr\u00e9dit \u00e0 l\u2019Etat togolais, avec un encours des cr\u00e9dits de 154 milliards Fcfa. Il va sans dire que cette contribution va aller en s\u2019am\u00e9liorant au vu des promesses faites par son PCA au Pr\u00e9sident togolais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence d\u2019Ecobank Transnational Incorporated le 30 juin 2020, Francis Alain Nkontchou s\u2019\u00e9tait vu fixer comme feuille de route de \u00ab continuer \u00e0 conduire le conseil d\u2019administration dans son parcours vers le leadership \u00bb, par son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur, le Nig\u00e9rian Emmanuel Ikazoboh. Co-fondateur d\u2019Enko capital, soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de gestion d\u2019actifs sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l\u2019investissement en Afrique, Alain Nkontchou est titulaire d\u2019un Master of science (Msc) de l\u2019Ecole sup\u00e9rieure de commerce de Paris, devenue ESCP Business School.
