Alors que la pression monte autour du massacre de Kishishe qui a fait 272 morts, selon le gouvernement, le M23 a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois ce mardi la possibilit\u00e9 d’un retrait de ses positions dans l’est de la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019annonce pourrait bien marquer le d\u00e9but d\u2019une nouvelle phase dans le conflit qui oppose le M23 et l\u2019arm\u00e9e congolaise. Ce mardi, le\u00a0M23\u00a0s’est\u00a0dit \u00ab\u00a0pr\u00eat\u00a0\u00e0 amorcer un d\u00e9sengagement et \u00e0 se retirer\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb, m\u00eame s’il n’\u00e9tait pas repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au\u00a0mini-sommet de Luanda\u00a0il y a deux semaines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le mouvement rebelle continue d’affirmer qu’il respecte le cessez-le-feu, m\u00eame si les combats n’ont jamais vraiment cess\u00e9 dans l’extr\u00eame ouest du territoire du Rutshuru. Il r\u00e9it\u00e8re \u00e9galement sa demande d’un dialogue direct avec le gouvernement congolais pour \u00ab trouver une solution durable aux causes du conflit dans l’est de la RDC<\/em> \u00bb et souhaite une r\u00e9union avec la force r\u00e9gionale d’Afrique de l’Est.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette annonce intervient dans un contexte de forte pression. Depuis quelques jours, les autorit\u00e9s congolaises pointent du doigt le M23\u00a0suite \u00e0 la tuerie de Kishishe. Le M23\u00a0rejette ces accusations. Elle intervient aussi apr\u00e8s la conversation t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique entre le secr\u00e9taire d’\u00c9tat am\u00e9ricain Anthony Blinken et le pr\u00e9sident rwandais Paul Kagame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour rappel, lors du mini-sommet de Luanda,\u00a0les participants demandaient un cessez-le-feu, puis un retrait progressif du M23 de ses positions.\u00a0Le mouvement rebelle avait alors r\u00e9pondu ne pas \u00eatre concern\u00e9 par ce communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
