Les deux pays africains qui sont parmi les plus peupl\u00e9s du continent devraient int\u00e9grer le Top 15 des puissances \u00e9conomiques mondiales d\u00e8s 2050.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Nigeria et l\u2019Egypte devraient devenir respectivement les 5e et 7e puissances \u00e9conomiques mondiales en 2075, selon un rapport comportant des pr\u00e9visions \u00e0 tr\u00e8s long terme publi\u00e9 mardi 6 d\u00e9cembre par la banque am\u00e9ricaine Goldman Sachs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intitul\u00e9 \u00ab The Path to 2075 \u00bb (Le chemin vers 2075), le rapport indique \u00e9galement que ces deux pays africains devraient int\u00e9grer le Top 15 des puissances \u00e9conomiques mondiales d\u00e8s 2050, lorsque l\u2019Egypte grimperait au 12e rang et le Nigeria occuperait la 15e position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans le m\u00eame temps, un chamboulement devrait se produire en t\u00eate du classement, d\u2019apr\u00e8s ce m\u00eame rapport \u00e9labor\u00e9 par Kevin Daly et Tadas Gedminas, les analystes de Goldman Sachs.  La Chine devrait ravir le rang de premi\u00e8re puissance \u00e9conomique mondiale aux Etats-Unis bien avant 2075. Le produit int\u00e9rieur brut (PIB) de l\u2019empire du Milieu d\u00e9passerait celui des Etats-Unis vers 2035, tandis que le PIB de l’Inde devrait d\u00e9passer de peu celui des Etats-Unis vers 2075.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon les donn\u00e9es de la Banque mondiale, les Etats-Unis sont actuellement la premi\u00e8re puissance \u00e9conomique mondiale avec un PIB de 23 000 milliards $ en 2021, tandis que la Chine arrive \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me position avec un PIB de18 000 milliards $. L’Inde est, quant \u00e0 elle, la 6e puissance \u00e9conomique mondiale actuellement, avec un PIB de 3 000 milliards $.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2075, le Japon devrait passer de la 3e \u00e0 la 12e place dans le classement des puissances \u00e9conomiques mondiales, alors que l’Allemagne (4e actuellement) reculerait \u00e0 la 9e position et la France pourrait quitter le Top 10 pour occuper le 15e rang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De fa\u00e7on g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, les pays qui devraient reculer dans le classement ont une caract\u00e9ristique commune, en l\u2019occurrence la baisse continue de leur potentiel de croissance d\u00e9mographique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
