Cette fois, pas de d\u00e9claration incroyable, pas de monologue introductif, le pr\u00e9sident de la Fifa est rest\u00e9 sobre, m\u00eame s\u2019il continue de d\u00e9crire cette comp\u00e9tition comme la \u00ab plus belle Coupe du monde de l\u2019histoire. \u00bb Selon lui, 3,27 millions de spectateurs se sont rendus dans les stades du Qatar. Le cycle de quatre ans aurait produit 7,5 milliards de dollars de revenus, soit un milliard de plus que pr\u00e9vu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais c\u2019est surtout sur l\u2019avenir du football et des comp\u00e9titions organis\u00e9es par la Fifa que Gianni Infantino a donn\u00e9 des pr\u00e9cisions. Le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019instance a d\u2019abord annonc\u00e9 la cr\u00e9ation, pour 2025, d\u2019une nouvelle Coupe du monde des clubs, \u00e0 32 \u00e9quipes. \u00ab Avec 32 clubs, ce sera une vraie Coupe du monde \u00bb, a-t-il avanc\u00e9 pour justifier sa d\u00e9cision. N\u00e9anmoins, il risque de se heurter une nouvelle fois au refus des clubs europ\u00e9ens. En effet, ceux-ci n\u2019ont pas souhait\u00e9 donner le feu vert \u00e0 l\u2019op\u00e9ration, lors de la derni\u00e8re r\u00e9union de l\u2019association des clubs europ\u00e9ens, le vendredi 9 d\u00e9cembre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parmi les inqui\u00e9tudes li\u00e9es \u00e0 cette comp\u00e9tition \u00e9largie figure \u00e9videmment la surcharge du calendrier, notamment pour les clubs participants aux Coupes d\u2019Europe. Gianni Infantino a tent\u00e9 de dissiper cette crainte : \u00ab Un \u00e9l\u00e9ment tr\u00e8s important que nous devons prendre en consid\u00e9ration est la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre des joueurs, d\u2019o\u00f9 une fen\u00eatre de quatre matchs, plut\u00f4t que deux. Nous devons nous assurer qu\u2019il y a une p\u00e9riode de repos pour les joueurs. Nous allons nous consulter sur ces sujets \u00bb, a-t-il avanc\u00e9. Une d\u00e9claration qui semble contraire \u00e0 son projet de Coupe du monde des clubs \u00e0 25, et \u00e0 l\u2019extension de la Coupe du monde pr\u00e9vue pour 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La formule du Mondial am\u00e9ricain, avec 48 participants, n\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs pas encore arr\u00eat\u00e9e.
