Kinshasa a demand\u00e9 jeudi, a-t-on appris vendredi, son extradition aux autorit\u00e9s zimbabw\u00e9ennes dans le cadre de l\u2019affaire de l\u2019assassinat de Floribert Chebeya et Fid\u00e8le Bazana.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On le croyait en Zambie, un moment annonc\u00e9 en Afrique du Sud ou encore en Tanzanie&#8230;\u00a0John Numbi s\u00e9journe finalement au Zimbabwe, d\u2019apr\u00e8s la justice militaire. Sous sanctions europ\u00e9ennes et am\u00e9ricaines pour atteintes aux droits de l\u2019homme, cet ex-proche de l&rsquo;ancien r\u00e9gime de Joseph Kabila avait pris fuite l\u2019an dernier apr\u00e8s de nouveaux d\u00e9veloppements dans le proc\u00e8s sur l\u2019assassinat en 2010 du d\u00e9fenseur des droits de l\u2019homme Floribert Chebeya et de son collaborateur Fid\u00e8le Bazana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le courrier du chef de la diplomatie congolaise Christophe Lutundula a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9 vendredi \u00e0 l\u2019ambassade du Zimbabwe \u00e0 Kinshasa. Le vice-Premier ministre demande \u00e0 la repr\u00e9sentation diplomatique de transmettre au bureau d\u2019Interpol \u00e0 Harare la commission rogatoire et le mandat d\u2019arr\u00eat international \u00e0 l\u2019encontre de John Numbi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un autre mandat avait \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9mis en 2021 et d\u00e9cern\u00e9 notamment aux autorit\u00e9s zambiennes au moment o\u00f9 John Numbi \u00e9tait soup\u00e7onn\u00e9 d\u2019y s\u00e9journer, mais ce mandat n\u2019avait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 ex\u00e9cut\u00e9, selon une source proche du dossier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plusieurs accusations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kinshasa compte sur ses bonnes relations avec Harare pour une ex\u00e9cution sans faille. Le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral&nbsp;\u00e9tait principalement recherch\u00e9 pour l\u2019affaire Chebeya dans laquelle il a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme principal commanditaire du double meurtre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais apr\u00e8s des perquisitions dans ses r\u00e9sidences, que ce soit \u00e0 Kinshasa ou \u00e0 Lubumbashi, l\u2019auditorat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des forces arm\u00e9es veut l\u2019entendre sur d\u2019autres charges.
