Celle du Katanga regorge de nombreuses mines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis la colonisation, la r\u00e9gion du Katanga a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 au c\u0153ur des&nbsp;enjeux politiques&nbsp;\u00e0 cause de ses ressources min\u00e9rales mais aussi de sa contribution au budget national, rappelle Freddy Kasongo, secr\u00e9taire ex\u00e9cutif de l&rsquo;Observatoire d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes et d&rsquo;appui \u00e0 la responsabilit\u00e9 sociale et environnementale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En p\u00e9riode \u00e9lectorale, le risque, souligne Freddy Kasongo, est que les provinces g\u00e9n\u00e8rent des revenus dont une partie pourrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour soutenir un&nbsp;candidat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00bb Voil\u00e0 pourquoi au niveau de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, nous militons davantage pour plus de transparence, notamment avec des m\u00e9canismes comme l\u2019ITIE (Initiative pour la transparence dans les industries extractives, ndlr),&nbsp;<\/em>affirme Freddy Kasongo \u00e0 la DW<em>. Nous militons aussi pour que la gestion de ces ressources au niveau des provinces et des entit\u00e9s territoriales d\u00e9centralis\u00e9es se fasse de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 respecter les lois du pays. Et nous esp\u00e9rons qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019issue des \u00e9lections qui seront organis\u00e9es, nous aurons, cette fois-ci, plus ou moins des responsables politiques qui pourront g\u00e9rer la chose publique pour l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat des populations. \u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-partage-equitable-des-ressources\">Partage \u00e9quitable des ressources ?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Qui dit\u00a0Katanga, dit mines. Cependant, insiste Sabin Mande, chercheur enseignant \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Lubumbashi, quand on parle des mines, il faut tenir compte des questions environnementales. Malheureusement, celles-ci ne sont pas prioritaires dans les objectifs des entreprises ou des responsables politiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00bb Quand vous lisez les projets des soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et de toutes ces structures politiques, on ne retrouve pas de d\u00e9tails sur l\u2019aspect environnement. Je ne vois pas ces politiciens se focaliser sur l\u2019aspect de l\u2019environnement d\u2019autant plus qu\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, avec tout ce qu\u2019il y a comme niveau de corruption, de d\u00e9tournements de fonds, je crois qu\u2019ils vont plus se focaliser sur ces questions plus \u00e9conomiques, en termes de d\u00e9tournements de fonds, de corruption, de trafic d\u2019influence, que sur les aspects de l\u2019environnement,&nbsp;<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb pr\u00e9cise l\u2019enseignant \u00e0 la Deutsche Welle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crise de confiance envers les politiques<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La province du Katanga est une province riche, certes, mais le foss\u00e9 persiste entre la richesse des entreprises mini\u00e8res et la pauvret\u00e9 de la population, rappelle Denise Maheho, membre de l&rsquo;Union congolaise des femmes des m\u00e9dias. Selon elle, le danger est que les Congolais perdent confiance dans leurs&nbsp;repr\u00e9sentants politiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00bbAujourd\u2019hui, les gens n\u2019ont pas confiance dans les politiciens. Ils disent que ce sont les m\u00eames, ils agissent de la m\u00eame fa\u00e7on, c\u2019est le m\u00eame syst\u00e8me qui continue,&nbsp;<\/em>observe la journaliste sur la DW.<em>&nbsp;Reste \u00e0 voir ce qui va se passer pendant les \u00e9lections, quels types de candidats il y aura, est ce qu\u2019ils vont pouvoir gagner la confiance des \u00e9lecteurs&nbsp;? Tout \u00e7a ce sont des questions \u00e0 voir le moment venu.
