Environ 9 700 personnes ont travers\u00e9 la fronti\u00e8re vers la Centrafrique depuis le Soudan voisin, o\u00f9 des combats entre arm\u00e9e et paramilitaires en guerre pour le pouvoir font rage depuis 21 jours, a annonc\u00e9 vendredi le Bureau de coordination humanitaire de l’ONU (OCHA) en Centrafrique.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quelque \u00ab\u00a09 700 personnes, dont 3.460 rapatri\u00e9s centrafricains, ont pr\u00e9ventivement travers\u00e9 la fronti\u00e8re du Soudan et sont h\u00e9berg\u00e9s par des familles d’accueil ou install\u00e9es dans des campements spontan\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, dans la ville d’Am-Dafock, frontali\u00e8re du Soudan dans le nord de la Centrafrique, leur nombre devrait augmenter \u00e0 mesure que l’enregistrement se poursuit a indiqu\u00e9 l’OCHA dans un communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’organisation indique \u00e9galement que des hauts responsables humanitaires et gouvernementaux se sont rendus \u00e0 Am-Dafock<\/strong> afin d’\u00e9valuer la situation dans cette r\u00e9gion inondable, et dont l’acc\u00e8s devrait \u00eatre tr\u00e8s limit\u00e9 apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de la saison des pluies (fin mai), s’inqui\u00e8te l’OCHA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ONU<\/strong> rappelle qu’en Centrafrique 3,4 millions<\/strong> de personnes soit 56% de la population<\/strong> ont besoin d’assistance et de protection. Dans le nord de ce pays parmi les plus pauvres au monde et en proie \u00e0 une guerre civile depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, 120 000 personnes<\/strong> ont besoin d’assistance alimentaire<\/strong>, pr\u00e9cise l’organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au 21e jour de conflit au Soudan<\/strong>, les habitants de la capitale Khartoum ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9veill\u00e9s par des frappes a\u00e9riennes et tirs de mitrailleuses, en d\u00e9pit des promesses de tr\u00eave. Les combats entre l’arm\u00e9e dirig\u00e9e par le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Abdel Fattah al-Burhane<\/strong>, et les Forces de soutien rapide (FSR) du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Mohamed Hamdane Daglo, ont fait depuis le 15 avril environ 700 morts, selon l’ONG ACLED qui recense les victimes de conflits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les combats ont fait plus de 5 000 bless\u00e9s<\/strong>, d\u00e9plac\u00e9 au moins 335 000 personnes<\/strong> et ont pouss\u00e9 115 000 autres<\/strong> \u00e0 l’exil, selon l’ONU, qui r\u00e9clame 402 millions d’euros<\/strong> pour aider le pays, l’un des plus pauvres au monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ONU pr\u00e9vient que 860 000 personnes<\/strong>, des Soudanais mais \u00e9galement de nombreux Sud-Soudanais retournant dans leur pays, pourraient traverser les fronti\u00e8res ces prochains mois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus de 56 000 personnes sont arriv\u00e9es en Egypte, selon l’ONU,\u00a0plus de 12 000 en Ethiopie et 30 000 au Tchad.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
