Chiffr\u00e9e \u00e0 21,2 milliards de dollars au d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2023, la fortune du milliardaire nig\u00e9rian et l\u2019homme le plus riche d\u2019Afrique, Aliko Dangote, a enregistr\u00e9 une chute de pr\u00e8s de 6 milliards de dollars, passant de 21 \u00e0 15 milliards de dollars suite \u00e0 la d\u00e9valuation de la monnaie nationale nig\u00e9riane, le Naira.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Selon les donn\u00e9es de l\u2019agence Bloomberg bas\u00e9e sur la m\u00e9thode Billionaires Index, cette baisse, la plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e enregistr\u00e9e depuis 2014, est tributaire au sillage de la suppression du double taux de change dans le pays \u00e0 la base de la d\u00e9valuation technique de la monnaie nig\u00e9riane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 en croire cependant l\u2019indice Bloomberg Billionaire Index choisi pour calculer les actifs de Dangote, il ressort que la fortune de Dangote est compos\u00e9e d\u2019une partie en cash qui inclut toutes les devises, et une seconde partie qui inclue la valeur des diff\u00e9rents actifs repr\u00e9sentant les participations en Naira du milliardaire \u00e0 diverses entreprises, dont le groupe Dangote Cement, la plus grosse entreprise industrielle du Nig\u00e9ria, et son usine d\u2019engrais r\u00e9cemment r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9e, qui valent respectivement 7,5 milliards de dollars et 5,4 milliards de dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En d\u00e9pit de cette d\u00e9gringolade, Dangote devrait toutefois continuer \u00e0 \u00eatre l\u2019africain le plus fortun\u00e9 pour un certain temps gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa raffinerie et son usine d\u2019engrais qui seront pleinement op\u00e9rationnelles d\u2019ici peu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
