Selon l’annonce de son PDG, Sundar Pichai, jeudi 19 octobre, Google pr\u00e9voit de fabriquer le Pixel 8, son smartphone phare, en Inde. Les premiers appareils pourraient sortir des usines indiennes d\u00e8s l’ann\u00e9e prochaine et rejoindre la liste grandissante des produits \u00e9lectroniques\u00a0made in India<\/em>. Apple y fait d\u00e9j\u00e0 fabriquer des iPhone et Samsung y dispose de la plus grande usine de t\u00e9l\u00e9phones au monde. Focus sur les raisons pour lesquelles l’Inde s\u00e9duit toujours plus le secteur.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

De plus en plus de g\u00e9ants de la tech voient dans l’Inde une alternative pour limiter la d\u00e9pendance de leurs cha\u00eenes d’approvisionnement vis-\u00e0-vis de la Chine. L’Inde offre une main d’\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e et bon march\u00e9 en abondance. Elle repr\u00e9sente aussi un march\u00e9 en rapide expansion o\u00f9 \u00e9couler les produits \u00e9lectroniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et puis, New Delhi a su se montrer convaincante.\u00a0Sundar Pichai<\/strong>, le patron de Google, a d’ailleurs mentionn\u00e9\u00a0la campagne \u00ab\u00a0Make in India\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>\u00a0lors de l’annonce concernant le Pixel 8. Cette politique phare du Premier ministre, Narendra Modi, initi\u00e9e en 2014, pr\u00e9voit des autorisations commerciales plus rapides et des incitations financi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depuis la mise en \u0153uvre de ce programme, la production et les exportations de produits \u00e9lectroniques ont augment\u00e9. Selon des chiffres officiels, les ventes \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger de t\u00e9l\u00e9phones ont presque doubl\u00e9 pour atteindre 8,5 milliards de dollars sur un an, en 2022-2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’Inde a tout de m\u00eame encore de la route \u00e0 parcourir : elle s’est fix\u00e9e comme objectif de produire pour 300 milliards de dollars d’appareils \u00e9lectroniques et de smartphones d’ici \u00e0 l’exercice 2025-2026. \u00a0En 2020-2021, selon l’India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA), elle flirtait avec les 75 milliards de dollars.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
