{"id":55089,"date":"2023-12-28T12:25:49","date_gmt":"2023-12-28T11:25:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/congopubonline.com\/?p=55089"},"modified":"2023-12-28T12:25:59","modified_gmt":"2023-12-28T11:25:59","slug":"le-benin-rouvre-sa-frontiere-avec-le-niger-le-commerce-peut-reprendre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/congopubonline.com\/?p=55089","title":{"rendered":"Le B\u00e9nin rouvre sa fronti\u00e8re avec le Niger, le commerce peut reprendre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Le B\u00e9nin a lev\u00e9 la suspension des importations de marchandises transitant vers le Niger par le port de Cotonou, a annonc\u00e9 mercredi le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du port dans un communiqu\u00e9, apr\u00e8s cinq mois de sanctions ouest-africaines appliqu\u00e9es en r\u00e9ponse au coup d&rsquo;Etat survenu dans le pays sah\u00e9lien.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0Il est proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 la lev\u00e9e de la mesure relative \u00e0 la suspension au port de Cotonou, des importations des marchandises \u00e0 destination du Niger\u00a0\u00bb, a \u00e9crit le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Port autonome de Cotonou, Bart Jozef Johan Van Eenoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette mesure a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise \u00ab\u00a0au regard de l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration substantielle des conditions op\u00e9rationnelles de traitement des marchandises au port de Cotonou, notamment la r\u00e9duction du taux de congestion\u00a0\u00bb, a justifi\u00e9 M. Van Eenoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En r\u00e9action \u00e0 un coup d&rsquo;Etat survenu le 26 juillet au Niger, le B\u00e9nin a appliqu\u00e9 des sanctions d\u00e9cid\u00e9es par la Communaut\u00e9 \u00e9conomique des Etats d&rsquo;Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest (Cedeao), dont la fermeture de sa fronti\u00e8re avec son voisin sah\u00e9lien. Le Niger avait \u00e9galement ferm\u00e9 sa fronti\u00e8re avec le B\u00e9nin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les sanctions de la Cedeao \u00e0 l&rsquo;encontre du Niger ont de lourdes cons\u00e9quences \u00e9conomiques pour le B\u00e9nin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce pays enregistre notamment une baisse de ses revenus portuaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La lev\u00e9e de la suspension des importations de marchandises transitant vers le Niger intervient pr\u00e8s d&rsquo;une semaine apr\u00e8s que le pr\u00e9sident b\u00e9ninois, Patrice Talon, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 vouloir \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9tablir rapidement les relations\u00a0\u00bb de son pays avec son voisin sah\u00e9lien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En outre, un ol\u00e9oduc g\u00e9ant reliant le sud-est du Niger \u00e0 la c\u00f4te b\u00e9ninoise, mis en service d\u00e9but novembre pour permettre \u00e0 partir de janvier la commercialisation du brut nig\u00e9rien sur le march\u00e9 international, est aussi un sujet de pr\u00e9occupation pour les deux pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Niger en attend une augmentation de ses recettes p\u00e9troli\u00e8res et le B\u00e9nin la perception de droits de transit, compensant les recettes douani\u00e8res perdues du fait des
