Jeudi 8 f\u00e9vrier, les craintes s&rsquo;accentuent dans cette ville o\u00f9 les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s s&rsquo;entassent.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ce-qu-il-faut-retenir\"><strong>Ce qu&rsquo;il faut retenir<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25a0 Alors que le groupe palestinien Hamas avait confirm\u00e9 mardi 6 f\u00e9vrier avoir remis sa r\u00e9ponse aux m\u00e9diateurs \u00e9gyptiens et qatariens au sujet de\u00a0<strong>la proposition de tr\u00eave<\/strong>\u00a0qui lui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 formul\u00e9e,\u00a0<strong>Isra\u00ebl\u00a0a refus\u00e9 ce projet<\/strong>. Selon lui, \u00ab\u00a0<em>Capituler devant les exigences d\u00e9lirantes du Hamas<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il lanc\u00e9,\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0<em>non seulement n&rsquo;am\u00e8nera pas la lib\u00e9ration des otages, mais entra\u00eenera un autre massacre<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb. Il pr\u00f4ne le maintien de la pression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25a0&nbsp;Benyamin Netanyahu a \u00e9galement mis en application ce que son gouvernement annon\u00e7ait depuis plusieurs jours&nbsp;:&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;<em>Nous avons donn\u00e9 l&rsquo;ordre aux forces de d\u00e9fense isra\u00e9liennes de&nbsp;<strong>pr\u00e9parer une op\u00e9ration \u00e0 Rafah<\/strong>&nbsp;ainsi que dans deux camps<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s. Il y voit les \u00ab&nbsp;<em>derniers bastions<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb du Hamas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25a0 Mais une telle op\u00e9ration terrestre suscite une grande crainte. L<strong>&lsquo;ONU s&rsquo;alarme \u00e0 l&rsquo;id\u00e9e d&rsquo;une invasion terrestre&nbsp;\u00e0 Rafah<\/strong>, qui pourrait \u00ab&nbsp;<em>constituer un crime de guerre<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb. \u00c0 la fronti\u00e8re avec l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte, la ville concentre d\u00e9sormais la moiti\u00e9 de la population palestinienne, venue se r\u00e9fugier, suivant notamment des instructions isra\u00e9liennes. Sa population a \u00e9t\u00e9 multipli\u00e9e par 5, des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s s&rsquo;entassant parfois sur des cimeti\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25a0&nbsp;\u00ab<strong>&nbsp;U<em>n nouveau cycle de n\u00e9gociations<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb d\u00e9bute jeudi&nbsp;<\/strong>au Caire sous le parrainage de l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte et du Qatar, visant \u00e0 obtenir \u00ab&nbsp;<em>le calme dans la bande de Gaza<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb ainsi qu&rsquo;un \u00e9change de prisonniers palestiniens et d&rsquo;otages isra\u00e9liens, a annonc\u00e9 un responsable \u00e9gyptien. Le Hamas a indiqu\u00e9 y envoyer une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation, men\u00e9e par un haut responsable de son bureau politique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25a0 Selon le dernier bilan du minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 du Hamas, communiqu\u00e9 mercredi 7 f\u00e9vrier,\u00a0<strong>27 708 personnes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9es \u00e0\u00a0Gaza<\/strong>\u00a0depuis le d\u00e9but de la guerre, le 7 octobre 2023. Les morts sont en majorit\u00e9 des femmes, des adolescents et des enfants.
