Le Premier ministre fran\u00e7ais, Gabriel Attal, a annonc\u00e9 dimanche qu\u2019il va pr\u00e9senter ce lundi matin sa d\u00e9mission au pr\u00e9sident Emmanuel Macron apr\u00e8s les \u00e9lections l\u00e9gislatives qui ont plac\u00e9 la gauche en t\u00eate, mais s\u2019est dit pr\u00eat \u00e0 rester \u00e0 Matignon \u00ab aussi longtemps que le devoir l\u2019exigera <\/em>\u00bb, dans le contexte des Jeux olympiques.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce dimanche alors m\u00eame qu’Emmanuel Macron<\/a><\/strong> annon\u00e7ait attendre la \u00ab structuration<\/em> \u00bb de la nouvelle Assembl\u00e9e pour \u00ab prendre les d\u00e9cisions n\u00e9cessaires <\/em>\u00bb Gabriel Attal<\/a><\/strong> fonce : \u00ab Fid\u00e8le \u00e0 la tradition r\u00e9publicaine et conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 mes principes, je remettrai demain matin ma d\u00e9mission au pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique <\/em>\u00bb. Mais tout en assurant qu’il pourrait rester \u00e0 la t\u00eate d’un gouvernement d\u00e9missionnaire pendant les JO 2024. Aussi, \u00ab j\u2019assumerai bien \u00e9videmment mes fonctions aussi longtemps que le devoir l\u2019exigera. Il ne peut en \u00eatre autrement \u00e0 la veille d\u2019\u00e9ch\u00e9ances si importantes pour notre pays<\/em> \u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un pr\u00e9sident qui a d\u00fb avoir les oreilles qui sifflent, mais sans jamais \u00eatre cit\u00e9 par le Premier ministre, note Charlotte Urien-Tomaka<\/strong>, du service politique de RFI. Et pour Gabriel Attal, le centre de gravit\u00e9 de la vie politique sera moins du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l’\u00c9lys\u00e9e<\/a><\/strong>. \u00ab Il faudra inventer quelque chose de neuf, de grand, d’utile. Pour cela, nous devrons assumer de tout remettre en question. Notre espace politique devra se mettre au travail pour b\u00e2tir une offre politique nouvelle. Penser toujours et avant tout aux Fran\u00e7ais. Nous refuserons de nous en remettre aux extr\u00eames. Toujours, nous chercherons \u00e0 apaiser. <\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et ce dimanche soir, imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s sa prise de parole, Gabriel Attal est reparti dans sa circonscription des Hauts-de-Seine \u2013 o\u00f9 il a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9\u00e9lu \u2013 avec un dernier pied de nez. \u00ab Cette dissolution, je ne l’ai pas choisie et j’ai refus\u00e9 de la subir<\/em> \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Six mois \u00e0 Matignon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L’amertume pass\u00e9e apr\u00e8s la dissolution, sur laquelle il n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 consult\u00e9, l’ambitieux Premier ministre avait repris la main sur la campagne de son camp<\/a><\/strong>, dont il a \u00e9vit\u00e9 la d\u00e9route : la majorit\u00e9 sortante est arriv\u00e9e deuxi\u00e8me avec 158 d\u00e9put\u00e9s (contre 250 dans l’Assembl\u00e9e sortante), devant le Rassemblement national avec 143 d\u00e9put\u00e9s et derri\u00e8re le Nouveau Front populaire avec 180 d\u00e9put\u00e9s. \u00ab Nous avons tenu et nous sommes debout avec trois fois plus de d\u00e9put\u00e9s que ce que donnaient certaines estimations au d\u00e9but de cette campagne<\/em> \u00bb, a salu\u00e9 le Premier ministre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En pr\u00e8s de six mois \u00e0 Matignon, Gabriel Attal n’a m\u00eame pas eu le temps d’y planter un arbre, comme le veut la tradition, ni d’aller au bout de ses dossiers, mais il y a sem\u00e9 des graines pour l’apr\u00e8s et notamment en vue de 2027. Nomm\u00e9 le 9 janvier 2024 plus jeune Premier ministre de la Ve R\u00e9publique, au terme d’une ascension spectaculaire, il arrive rue de Varenne aur\u00e9ol\u00e9 d’un profil plus \u00ab politique<\/em> \u00bb et communicant que sa pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseure Elisabeth Borne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e8s la passation, il impose sa marque : se d\u00e9placer souvent, communiquer beaucoup. Trop selon certains, s’attirant les foudres des oppositions qui l’accusent d’accaparer les m\u00e9dias et de \u00ab baratiner<\/em> \u00bb, Marine Le Pen raillant son \u00ab autorit\u00e9<\/em> \u00bb qui lui \u00ab va comme un tablier \u00e0 une vache<\/em> \u00bb. Gabriel Attal assume et continue d’occuper le terrain, \u00e0 d\u00e9faut d’avoir une majorit\u00e9 absolue \u00e0 l’Assembl\u00e9e nationale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de Sciences po, quatre fois ministre (Jeunesse, porte-parolat, Budget et \u00c9ducation), Gabriel Attal est pass\u00e9 du socialisme au macronisme, en empruntant des codes sarkozystes : il d\u00e9fend les \u00ab classes moyennes <\/em>\u00bb et la \u00ab France qui se l\u00e8ve t\u00f4t<\/em> \u00bb, pr\u00f4ne \u00ab l’autorit\u00e9<\/em> \u00bb \u00e0 l’\u00e9cole, et souhaite davantage sanctionner les mineurs d\u00e9linquants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
