Ces assises se tiennent dans le cadre de concertation sous \u2013 r\u00e9gionale qui aborde les questions relatives \u00e0 la gouvernance de l\u2019internet et ses utilisations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Forum sur la gouvernance de l\u2019internet pour l\u2019Afrique centrale a, notamment pour objectifs sp\u00e9cifiques d\u2019indentifier les tendances actuelles de la transition num\u00e9rique en Afrique centrale et d\u2019\u00e9valuer les d\u00e9fis et les contraintes li\u00e9es \u00e0 la transition num\u00e9rique en Afrique centrale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans son mot, le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019ARPTC, Christian Katende, qui a salu\u00e9 la tenue de ce forum, est revenu sur la quitescenxe de l\u2019intelligence artificielle qui entra\u00eene une transformation num\u00e9rique rapide du monde, boulversant l\u2019avenir de l\u2019humanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En outre, il a rappel\u00e9 le r\u00f4le important que joue l\u2019internet pour le d\u00e9veloppement socio-\u00e9conomique, culturel et politique des pays. Il a aussi fait mention, dans son discours, des atteintes aux droits de l\u2019homme, \u00e0 la vie priv\u00e9e, \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, \u00e0 la souverainet\u00e9 et \u00e0 la stabilit\u00e9 des \u00c9tats commises sur l\u2019internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;<em>Notre pays, la RDC, pr\u00e9sente une position strat\u00e9gique dans le d\u00e9veloppement des infrastructures au sein de notre r\u00e9gion et de notre continent, nous permettant ainsi de devenir un carrefour naturel potentiel des \u00e9changes entre le Nord et le Sud de l\u2019Afrique, ainsi qu\u2019entre l\u2019Est et l\u2019Ouest de l\u2019Afrique et d\u2019\u00eatre l\u2019un des plus grands transitaires de flux de donn\u00e9es num\u00e9riques du monde, pouvant relier l\u2019oc\u00e9an Atlantique et l\u2019oc\u00e9an Indien, de m\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et le cap de bonne esp\u00e9rance<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019ARPTC a par ailleurs \u00e9voqu\u00e9 le projet de d\u00e9veloppement du r\u00e9seau national de fibre optique de plus de 50.000 Km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;<em>Conscient de ces enjeux strat\u00e9giques que pr\u00e9sente cette position g\u00e9ostrat\u00e9gique, nous avons d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un projet pour le d\u00e9ploiement d\u2019un r\u00e9seau national \u00e0 large bande int\u00e9grant un syst\u00e8me national de transmission par fibre optique de plus de 50.000 Km, coupl\u00e9 \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me satellitaire, qui assurera le maillage complet du pays et permettre \u00e0 la population d\u2019acc\u00e9der aux services universels num\u00e9riques de bonne qualit\u00e9 \u00e0 un co\u00fbt abordable&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb, a-t-il rench\u00e9ri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e a connu la participation par vid\u00e9o-conf\u00e9rence des repr\u00e9sentants des organisations \u00e9voluant dans le secteur du num\u00e9rique. Ce forum de deux jours pr\u00e9voit plusieurs panels qui vont aboutir \u00e0 des solutions idoines pour une transition num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Moloway
