En effet, ce c\u00e9l\u00e8bre catcheur congolais a perdu la vie ce lundi 13 janvier au Maroc, o\u00f9 il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9vacu\u00e9 pour recevoir des soins m\u00e9dicaux. Edingwe Mapima, mieux connu sous le nom de Ya Eddy Moto na Ngenge, a tir\u00e9 sa r\u00e9v\u00e9rence ce 13 janvier 2025, des suites d\u2019un cancer.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ancien sportif de la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo (RDC), il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9 en urgence au Royaume ch\u00e9rifien le 12 d\u00e9cembre 2024 pour des traitements appropri\u00e9s. Malheureusement, il n\u2019a pas surv\u00e9cu longtemps apr\u00e8s son arriv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre catcheur avait \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9vacu\u00e9 d\u2019urgence vers ce pays pour des soins m\u00e9dicaux, apr\u00e8s une d\u00e9gradation soudaine de son \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est un v\u00e9ritable choc pour les fans de catch en R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo. L\u2019ic\u00f4ne du sport-spectacle congolais, Edingwe, surnomm\u00e9 \u201cMoto na ngenge\u201d. Le catcheur avait \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9vacu\u00e9 dans ce pays voisin pour y recevoir des soins m\u00e9dicaux, apr\u00e8s une d\u00e9gradation soudaine de son \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malade depuis plusieurs mois, Paul, de son vrai nom, avait pourtant d\u00e9menti \u00e0 plusieurs reprises les rumeurs sur sa disparition. Encore r\u00e9cemment, il \u00e9tait apparu sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, alit\u00e9 dans un h\u00f4pital, entour\u00e9 de son \u00e9pouse Amisi. Mais son \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 s\u2019\u00e9tait finalement brutalement aggrav\u00e9, n\u00e9cessitant son \u00e9vacuation d\u2019urgence au Maroc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

V\u00e9ritable l\u00e9gende vivante du catch congolais, Edingwe laisse derri\u00e8re lui un immense vide dans le monde sportif de la RDC. Surnomm\u00e9 \u201cMoto na ngenge\u201d, soit \u201cFeu follet\u201d en lingala, le catcheur s\u2019\u00e9tait impos\u00e9 comme l\u2019une des figures incontournables de cette discipline tr\u00e8s populaire dans le pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dot\u00e9 d\u2019une agilit\u00e9 et d\u2019une force de frappe hors-normes, Edingwe avait marqu\u00e9 des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de fans avec ses prouesses techniques et son charisme hors-norme sur les rings. Au fil des ann\u00e9es, il \u00e9tait devenu l\u2019un des ambassadeurs les plus influents du catch congolais, contribuant \u00e0 sa notori\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019international.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sa disparition soudaine plonge l\u2019ensemble de la communaut\u00e9 sportive de la RDC dans une immense tristesse. \u201cC\u2019est une grande perte pour le catch congolais. Edingwe \u00e9tait une v\u00e9ritable figure embl\u00e9matique, une source d\u2019inspiration pour tous les jeunes athl\u00e8tes\u201d, a notamment r\u00e9agi la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration congolaise de lutte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au-del\u00e0 du sport, Edingwe s\u2019\u00e9tait \u00e9galement impos\u00e9 comme une personnalit\u00e9 populaire et respect\u00e9e dans son pays. Son engagement aupr\u00e8s des plus d\u00e9munis et son charisme naturel en avaient fait une v\u00e9ritable ic\u00f4ne au-del\u00e0 des fronti\u00e8res du catch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nul doute que les hommages vont se multiplier dans les prochains jours pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la m\u00e9moire de cet homme, v\u00e9ritable \u201cfeu follet\u201d du ring congolais. Une disparition qui laisse un grand vide dans le c\u0153ur de tous les amateurs de catch en R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une forte pluie vergla\u00e7ante s’est abattue sur la capitale congolaise dans la soir\u00e9e, selon des t\u00e9moignages, assez inhabituelle ces fortes pluies survenues \u00e0 Kinshasa dans la soir\u00e9e de ce lundi,13 janvier 2025 ont provoqu\u00e9 des \u00e9boulements et des glissements de terrain, entra\u00eenant le blocage de l’Avenue du Tourisme ce mardi 14 janvier 2025, qui pour annoncer le d\u00e9part d’une notabilit\u00e9 ou encore d’un grand esprit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’homme de Matete affectueusement appel\u00e9 YA EDDIE<\/strong> s’en est all\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir marqu\u00e9 son passage d’une encre ind\u00e9l\u00e9bile. il rejoint dans la f\u00e9licit\u00e9 un autre grand catcheur Selemani moja qui a eu \u00e0 le pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 plusieurs ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
