Les lueurs de feu \u00e9mises par le volcan ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9es depuis Goma d\u00e8s la soir\u00e9e, suscitant l\u2019attention des habitants et des autorit\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le docteur Georges Mavongo, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019Observatoire Volcanologique de Goma (OVG), a confirm\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9ruption sans fournir de d\u00e9tails suppl\u00e9mentaires. Selon des sources concordantes, des mouvements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9s au niveau du crat\u00e8re du Nyamulagira, l\u2019un des volcans les plus actifs de la cha\u00eene des Virunga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ruption du Nyiragongo en 2021, qui avait caus\u00e9 d\u2019importants d\u00e9g\u00e2ts mat\u00e9riels et des pertes en vies humaines \u00e0 Goma et dans le territoire de Nyiragongo, l\u2019\u00e9ruption actuelle du Nyamulagira ne repr\u00e9sente pas un danger imm\u00e9diat pour la ville. En effet, la lave de ce volcan s\u2019\u00e9coule traditionnellement en direction du parc national des Virunga, une zone inhabit\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les autorit\u00e9s et les experts de l\u2019OVG surveillent de pr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9volution de la situation, bien qu\u2019aucune mesure d\u2019\u00e9vacuation n\u2019ait \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e pour le moment.
