Le pr\u00e9sident fran\u00e7ais Emmanuel Macron a rencontr\u00e9, ce mercredi 19 mars \u00e0 Paris, une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation de leaders religieux congolais, comprenant des \u00e9v\u00eaques de la Conf\u00e9rence \u00e9piscopale nationale du Congo (CENCO) et des pasteurs de l\u2019\u00c9glise du Christ au Congo (ECC). Ces derniers sont les initiateurs du Pacte social pour la paix et le bien-vivre ensemble en RDC et dans la r\u00e9gion des Grands Lacs<\/em>. Cette rencontre s\u2019inscrit dans le cadre des consultations men\u00e9es par ces leaders religieux aupr\u00e8s des acteurs sociopolitiques nationaux et internationaux pour promouvoir leur initiative de paix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un soutien fran\u00e7ais au Pacte social<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Monseigneur Donatien Nshole, secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la CENCO, a expliqu\u00e9 que la France, en tant qu\u2019acteur cl\u00e9 des Nations Unies et de la diplomatie internationale, \u00e9tait un partenaire essentiel pour leur initiative. \u00ab Le pr\u00e9sident Macron nous a \u00e9cout\u00e9s attentivement, il a partag\u00e9 nos analyses et est d\u2019accord avec les perspectives pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans le guide du Pacte social. Il a promis son soutien dans la mesure du possible \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Mgr Nshole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emmanuel Macron a confirm\u00e9 son soutien sur son compte X (anciennement Twitter) :
\u00ab J\u2019ai re\u00e7u une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation des \u00e9glises congolaises engag\u00e9es pour la paix en RDC. J\u2019appuie pleinement leur initiative. Pour d\u00e9passer la crise actuelle \u00e0 l’Est du pays et permettre le r\u00e9tablissement de la souverainet\u00e9 congolaise, la France soutient le dialogue. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un appel au M23 et \u00e0 la reprise des n\u00e9gociations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fort de ce nouveau soutien, apr\u00e8s ceux de plusieurs chefs d\u2019\u00c9tat et personnalit\u00e9s politiques africains, les membres du Pacte social ont lanc\u00e9 un appel \u00e0 la r\u00e9bellion du M23\/AFC, soutenue par le Rwanda, pour qu\u2019elle revienne \u00e0 la table des n\u00e9gociations. Cet appel fait suite \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chec des pourparlers de Luanda, o\u00f9 les rebelles avaient refus\u00e9 de participer \u00e0 des discussions directes avec le gouvernement congolais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mgr Nshole a salu\u00e9 la r\u00e9cente rencontre entre les pr\u00e9sidents congolais F\u00e9lix Tshisekedi et rwandais Paul Kagame, organis\u00e9e mardi dernier \u00e0 Doha sous l\u2019\u00e9gide de l\u2019\u00c9mir du Qatar. \u00ab Je crois que le plus urgent, c\u2019est qu\u2019on arr\u00eate les combats et qu\u2019on s\u2019engage dans la dynamique. Pour arr\u00eater les combats, nous avons besoin du soutien de plusieurs acteurs, dont le pr\u00e9sident Macron \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il a \u00e9galement appel\u00e9 les combattants du M23 \u00e0 ne pas rester dans une posture de refus : \u00ab Ce n\u2019est pas un fiasco (\u00e9chec des n\u00e9gociations de Luanda) ; ils se sont exprim\u00e9s de cette fa\u00e7on-l\u00e0 pour des raisons qui sont les leurs, mais la dynamique peut bien continuer, c\u2019est notre v\u0153u. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un \u00e9lan diplomatique r\u00e9gional<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Emmanuel Macron a \u00e9galement exprim\u00e9 son soutien aux efforts diplomatiques r\u00e9gionaux, notamment l\u2019initiative qatarie :
\u00ab La rencontre entre le Pr\u00e9sident Tshisekedi et le Pr\u00e9sident Kagame organis\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00c9mir du Qatar hier \u00e0 Doha et tous les efforts r\u00e9gionaux vont dans ce sens. Ils doivent se poursuivre. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette d\u00e9claration renforce l\u2019espoir d\u2019une reprise des n\u00e9gociations et d\u2019une r\u00e9solution pacifique du conflit dans l\u2019est de la RDC, o\u00f9 les violences persistent malgr\u00e9 les appels r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e0 un cessez-le-feu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une lueur d\u2019espoir pour la paix<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Le soutien de la France au Pacte social pour la paix, port\u00e9 par les \u00e9glises congolaises, marque une \u00e9tape importante dans les efforts pour stabiliser la r\u00e9gion des Grands Lacs. Alors que les combats continuent de faire rage, les initiatives diplomatiques et les appels au dialogue restent plus que jamais n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9tablir la souverainet\u00e9 congolaise et garantir une paix durable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
