En ce dimanche des Rameaux, le professeur F\u00e9lix Momat Kitenge a rompu le silence pour condamner fermement les attaques visant Monseigneur Fulgence Muteba Mugalu, archev\u00eaque m\u00e9tropolitain de Lubumbashi et pr\u00e9sident de la CENCO dans un message percutant, il d\u00e9nonce une campagne de d\u00e9stabilisation orchestr\u00e9e contre l’\u00c9glise catholique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le professeur Kitenge d\u00e9nonce des attaques aliment\u00e9es par des m\u00e9dias manipul\u00e9s prenant pour cible non seulement Mgr Muteba mais plus largement l’institution eccl\u00e9siale il souligne le r\u00f4le proph\u00e9tique de l’\u00c9glise qui ose d\u00e9noncer les v\u00e9rit\u00e9s inconfortables et promouvoir activement la paix \u00e0 travers le Pacte Social pour la Paix et le Vivre-Ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refusant cat\u00e9goriquement toute politisation de l’action \u00e9piscopale, Kitenge rappelle que Mgr Muteba n’est pas un acteur politique mais un homme d’\u00c9glise guid\u00e9 par les valeurs \u00e9vang\u00e9liques de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de justice son plaidoyer pour l’unit\u00e9 nationale repr\u00e9sente selon lui un appel \u00e0 \u00e9veiller les consciences plut\u00f4t qu’un positionnement partisan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le professeur Kitenge, se revendiquant comme chr\u00e9tien engag\u00e9, exige le respect d\u00fb \u00e0 la personne et \u00e0 la fonction de Mgr Muteba il r\u00e9affirme avec force que l’\u00c9glise constitue non pas une opposition mais la conscience morale de la nation son message se cl\u00f4t sur un avertissement sans ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 contre toute tentative de marginalisation de la voix de l’\u00c9glise dans le d\u00e9bat national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette prise de position intervient dans un contexte tendu o\u00f9 les appels \u00e0 la r\u00e9conciliation nationale port\u00e9s par la CENCO font l’objet de vives controverses dans l’espace public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
