Des proches ont indiqu\u00e9 que le d\u00e9c\u00e8s serait li\u00e9 \u00e0 des complications diab\u00e9tiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;officier sup\u00e9rieur, ancien membre des Forces Arm\u00e9es Za\u00efroises avant d&rsquo;int\u00e9grer les FARDC, avait une carri\u00e8re militaire marqu\u00e9e par plusieurs affectations. Il avait notamment servi comme commandant de la 12\u00e8me r\u00e9gion militaire dans le Kongo-Central avant d&rsquo;\u00eatre mut\u00e9 au Nord-Kivu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En janvier 2025, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Alengbia occupait le poste de commandant des op\u00e9rations lors de la prise de Goma par les rebelles du M23. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement avait conduit \u00e0 son repli strat\u00e9gique vers Bukavu avec d&rsquo;autres officiers, puis \u00e0 son rappel \u00e0 Kinshasa o\u00f9 il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 jug\u00e9 pour \u00ab\u00a0fuite devant l&rsquo;ennemi\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9actions \u00e0 son d\u00e9c\u00e8s sont partag\u00e9es. Certains de ses anciens coll\u00e8gues militaires soulignent son exp\u00e9rience op\u00e9rationnelle, tandis que d&rsquo;autres rappellent les circonstances controvers\u00e9es de la perte de Goma sous son commandement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aucune d\u00e9claration officielle des FARDC n&rsquo;a encore \u00e9t\u00e9 faite concernant ce d\u00e9c\u00e8s.
