Ces affrontements ont entra\u00een\u00e9 la mort du colonel autoproclam\u00e9 Libaya, l&rsquo;un des principaux chefs de cette milice dirig\u00e9e par un certain Daddy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon les informations fournies par le capitaine Antony Mwalushay, commandant et porte-parole de l&rsquo;op\u00e9ration Ngemba (Paix), ces violences trouvent leur origine dans l&rsquo;arrestation par une faction d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9ments d&rsquo;un groupe rival, accus\u00e9s de harc\u00e8lement envers la population civile. Les combats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9s par des pillages syst\u00e9matiques des biens des habitants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malgr\u00e9 les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par les Forces arm\u00e9es de la RDC dans le cadre de l&rsquo;op\u00e9ration Ngemba pour s\u00e9curiser la r\u00e9gion du Grand Bandundu, les tensions internes au sein des Mobondo continuent d&rsquo;alimenter l&rsquo;ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans le Kwamouth. Face \u00e0 cette situation, les FARDC ont imm\u00e9diatement renforc\u00e9 leur pr\u00e9sence \u00e0 Vilakata et dans les villages environnants afin de prot\u00e9ger les populations civiles qui vivent dans un climat de peur persistante depuis le retour des rebelles Mobondo dans plusieurs localit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le capitaine Mwalushay a lanc\u00e9 un appel pressant \u00e0 la Coordination nationale de la R\u00e9serve arm\u00e9e de la d\u00e9fense (RAD) pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le processus de d\u00e9sarmement et de r\u00e9int\u00e9gration des combattants ayant d\u00e9j\u00e0 quitt\u00e9 le maquis. Les forces arm\u00e9es ont mis \u00e0 disposition un num\u00e9ro de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone (+243 97 446 6945) g\u00e9r\u00e9 par leur cellule de communication, permettant aux t\u00e9moins de transmettre des preuves mat\u00e9rielles des violences commises (photos, vid\u00e9os ou t\u00e9moignages) en vue de poursuites judiciaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le commandement militaire a clairement averti qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;h\u00e9siterait pas \u00e0 recourir \u00e0 la force si ces violences entre factions continuaient, tout en exhortant la population \u00e0 signaler tout acte criminel commis par les Mobondo.
