Le club italien de l\u2019AC Milan a officialis\u00e9 ce vendredi 20 juin un partenariat avec la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo (RDC). Cette collaboration s\u2019inscrit dans le cadre du Plan Mattei, une initiative du gouvernement italien visant \u00e0 la fois \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les flux migratoires vers l\u2019Europe et \u00e0 ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives \u00e9conomiques pour les entreprises italiennes en Afrique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dot\u00e9 d\u2019une enveloppe de 5,5 milliards d\u2019euros sur trois ans, le Plan Mattei entend renforcer les liens entre l\u2019Italie et le continent africain. L\u2019AC Milan jouera un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans ce dispositif en travaillant main dans la main avec le minist\u00e8re congolais du Tourisme pour attirer des investisseurs europ\u00e9ens dans les secteurs du commerce et du tourisme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019aspect \u00e9conomique, le projet comprend un important volet social. Il pr\u00e9voit notamment la r\u00e9habilitation d\u2019infrastructures sportives destin\u00e9es \u00e0 la jeunesse congolaise, ainsi que la construction d\u2019\u00e9coles. La premi\u00e8re verra le jour \u00e0 Boma, dans la province du Kongo Central, gr\u00e2ce au soutien de fondations italiennes comme la Fondation Mama Sofia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation du club milanais se rendra en RDC d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de la prochaine saison pour lancer officiellement ce partenariat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Par ailleurs, le minist\u00e8re congolais des Sports a annonc\u00e9 un autre accord, cette fois avec l\u2019AS Monaco. D\u2019un montant de 4,8 millions d\u2019euros sur trois ans, ce partenariat permettra de d\u00e9velopper le sport congolais en s\u2019appuyant sur l\u2019expertise du club fran\u00e7ais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces initiatives marquent une nouvelle \u00e9tape dans la coop\u00e9ration entre l\u2019Europe et l\u2019Afrique, o\u00f9 le sport sert de levier pour le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et social. Reste \u00e0 voir comment ces engagements se concr\u00e9tiseront sur le terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
