La F\u00e9d\u00e9ration congolaise de basket-ball a annonc\u00e9 ce dimanche 10 ao\u00fbt la liste des 12 joueurs qui repr\u00e9senteront la RDC lors du championnat d’Afrique de basket-ball pr\u00e9vu en Angola du 12 au 24 ao\u00fbt 2025. Le s\u00e9lectionneur fran\u00e7ais Michel Perrin a arr\u00eat\u00e9 son choix apr\u00e8s plusieurs semaines de pr\u00e9paration intensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parmi les absents notables figurent Pitchou Manga, Cuma Toto et Malela Mutuale, \u00e9cart\u00e9s par le staff technique. En revanche, des \u00e9l\u00e9ments exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s comme John Jordan, Christian Eyenga et Evariste Shonganya ont \u00e9t\u00e9 conserv\u00e9s pour apporter leur leadership \u00e0 l’\u00e9quipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La s\u00e9lection finale comprend Jordan Sakho, Kapongo Kabuya, Christian Lutete, Franck Nyembo, Rolly Fula, Maxi Shamba, Garmine Kande, Isaac Mushila, Mervedi Miteo, ainsi que les trois joueurs pr\u00e9cit\u00e9s. Ces L\u00e9opards ont achev\u00e9 leur pr\u00e9paration par trois matchs amicaux en Angola, montrant des signes encourageants de coh\u00e9sion et de d\u00e9termination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plac\u00e9e dans le Groupe A aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la C\u00f4te d’Ivoire, du Rwanda et du Cap Vert, la RDC entend bien jouer les trouble-f\u00eates lors de cette sixi\u00e8me participation \u00e0 l’Afrobasket. L’\u00e9quipe nationale nourrit l’ambition de cr\u00e9er la surprise et pourquoi pas, de d\u00e9crocher un premier titre continental qui marquerait l’histoire du basket congolais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le premier match contre le Rwanda ce lundi 12 ao\u00fbt constituera un test r\u00e9v\u00e9lateur des ambitions r\u00e9elles de cette s\u00e9lection qui semble avoir trouv\u00e9 le bon \u00e9quilibre entre exp\u00e9rience et jeunesse. Les supporters congolais esp\u00e8rent voir leurs L\u00e9opards briller sur le parquet angolais et porter haut les couleurs nationales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
