Le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique F\u00e9lix Tshisekedi a officiellement relanc\u00e9 ce vendredi la ligne ferroviaire Kinshasa-Matadi, en r\u00e9ceptionnant un nouveau train moderne de sept voitures climatis\u00e9es, fruit du financement par la redevance logistique terrestre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un investissement strat\u00e9gique<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors d’une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie officielle \u00e0 Kinshasa, Martin Lukusa, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’Office national des Transports (ONATRA), a soulign\u00e9 l’importance de cet investissement : \u00ab\u00a0Pour la premi\u00e8re fois, nous r\u00e9ceptionnons du mat\u00e9riel roulant ferroviaire moderne, acquis gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l’appui du gouvernement au moyen des fonds issus de la redevance logistique terrestre\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une flotte modernis\u00e9e<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le nouveau train, compos\u00e9 de 4 voitures automotrices et 3 voitures interm\u00e9diaires, n’est que la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape d’un vaste programme de modernisation. La convention sign\u00e9e avec un partenaire chinois pr\u00e9voit \u00e9galement l’acquisition de 2 locomotives de ligne double cabine neuves, ainsi que 40 wagons porte-conteneurs dans les prochains mois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renaissance du transport ferroviaire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Pierre Bemba, Vice-Premier ministre des Transports, a annonc\u00e9 la reprise imminente du trafic urbain \u00e0 Kinshasa, notamment sur la ligne Gare centrale – A\u00e9roport international de N’djili et la r\u00e9ouverture de la voie ferroviaire Gare centrale – Kitambo magasin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un projet structurant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La ministre du Portefeuille, Julie Mbuyi Shiku, a qualifi\u00e9 cette r\u00e9habilitation de \u00ab\u00a0projet structurant \u00e0 effet r\u00e9el\u00a0\u00bb qui marque \u00ab\u00a0le retour de la confiance et de l’esp\u00e9rance\u00a0\u00bb pour le transport multimodal en RDC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternative pour une m\u00e9galopole<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avec pr\u00e8s de 20 millions d’habitants, Kinshasa voit dans le train la meilleure alternative de transport de masse. Le Pr\u00e9sident Tshisekedi a personnellement visit\u00e9 les nouvelles voitures, constatant le confort offert aux futurs voyageurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette relance ferroviaire s’inscrit dans le cadre du programme gouvernemental de modernisation des infrastructures de transport, essentiel au d\u00e9senclavement et au d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique du pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
