Son d\u00e9c\u00e8s est intervenu quelques heures seulement apr\u00e8s avoir accueilli le Vice-Premier Ministre en charge de l\u2019Int\u00e9rieur, Jacquemain Shabani, dont la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation se trouvait toujours \u00e0 Uvira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un commandant r\u00e9cemment nomm\u00e9<\/strong><br>Nomm\u00e9 il y a \u00e0 peine un mois, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Muaku Mbuluku avait pris le commandement de la 33\u1d49 r\u00e9gion militaire le 4 ao\u00fbt 2025, succ\u00e9dant ainsi au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Dunia Kashindi. Figure connue de la hi\u00e9rarchie militaire, il s\u2019\u00e9tait rendu jeudi aupr\u00e8s des bless\u00e9s des r\u00e9centes manifestations meurtri\u00e8res men\u00e9es par les Wazalendo. Selon une source militaire, il avait convoqu\u00e9 le m\u00eame soir une r\u00e9union strat\u00e9gique avec plusieurs officiers sup\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Son d\u00e9c\u00e8s survient dans un contexte particuli\u00e8rement tendu \u00e0 Uvira. La ville a \u00e9t\u00e9 secou\u00e9e cette semaine par des manifestations de la population exigeant le d\u00e9part du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Olivier Gasita, commandant adjoint charg\u00e9 des renseignements et des op\u00e9rations, et l\u2019un des adjoints directs du d\u00e9funt g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.
