Le Gouverneur de la Banque centrale du Congo, Andr\u00e9 Wameso, a pris part \u00e0 la 15\u1d49 \u00e9dition de l\u2019Europe Africa Investment Forum, organis\u00e9e par Credassur Group \u00e0 Bruxelles. Durant cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement de deux jours, il a expos\u00e9 une ambition forte pour son pays : transformer la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo d\u2019un fournisseur de mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res en un p\u00f4le d\u2019innovation et de transformation digitale en Afrique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une nouvelle vision : de la mine \u00e0 l’innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors d\u2019un premier atelier tenu \u00e0 la Banque centrale europ\u00e9enne, M. Wameso a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 le th\u00e8me \u00ab RDC : Des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res au leadership mondial \u00bb. Il a insist\u00e9 sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de changer la perception internationale de son pays. \u00ab La RDC doit \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme un moteur de croissance et d\u2019innovation technologique, et non plus comme une simple r\u00e9serve de mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9, r\u00e9affirmant ce message plus tard dans la journ\u00e9e au Palais d\u2019Egmont.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La digitalisation financi\u00e8re au c\u0153ur de la strat\u00e9gie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Gouverneur a d\u00e9taill\u00e9 les leviers de cette transformation, mettant en avant l’importance cruciale de la digitalisation bancaire, des paiements instantan\u00e9s et de l\u2019int\u00e9gration future de l\u2019euro num\u00e9rique dans le syst\u00e8me financier congolais. Son intervention s’est inscrite dans un panel de haut niveau aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s d\u2019experts tels que Boris Kisselevsky (BCE), Christophe Bonte (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration bancaire de l\u2019UE) et Sophie Kafuti, Directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Visa RDC, qui ont partag\u00e9 leurs expertises sur la modernisation des services financiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un forum pour attirer les investissements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outre les questions financi\u00e8res, le forum a abord\u00e9 des th\u00e8mes vari\u00e9s comme la diplomatie internationale, les paiements transfrontaliers, l’intelligence artificielle, l’inclusion \u00e9conomique et le leadership f\u00e9minin. D’autres repr\u00e9sentants africains, dont Guylain Nyembo, Ministre d\u2019\u00c9tat congolais en charge du Plan, et le Dr Alain Ndikumana, Ministre des Finances du Burundi, ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 les opportunit\u00e9s d\u2019investissement et les avanc\u00e9es dans la digitalisation des services publics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement s’inscrit dans la mission du groupe Credassur, qui, depuis sa cr\u00e9ation, a organis\u00e9 plus de 20 forums internationaux, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant plus de 100 millions d\u2019euros d\u2019engagements d\u2019investissement dans des secteurs cl\u00e9s comme les infrastructures, la finance et la technologie. L’intervention du Gouverneur Wameso y a positionn\u00e9 la RDC comme un partenaire \u00e9conomique ambitieux et tourn\u00e9 vers l’avenir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
