Les autorit\u00e9s locales \u00e9voquent une piste suicidaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, ses proches contestent cette version. Ils soulignent qu&rsquo;il \u00e9tait de bonne humeur lors d&rsquo;un long appel t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique avec sa famille la veille de sa mort. Un \u00e9l\u00e9ment troublant ajoute au myst\u00e8re : Christmas aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 interpell\u00e9 puis rel\u00e2ch\u00e9 par la police dans la nuit pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant sa d\u00e9couverte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un drame aux circonstances floues<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si le rapport de police \u00e9voque un suicide, l&rsquo;entourage du jeune homme rejette cat\u00e9goriquement cette th\u00e8se. \u00ab\u00a0Rien ne laissait pr\u00e9sager une issue aussi tragique\u00a0\u00bb, affirment ses proches, qui soulignent son \u00e9tat d&rsquo;esprit serein lors d&rsquo;un dernier contact avec sa famille, moins de 24 heures avant le drame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le myst\u00e8re s&rsquo;\u00e9paissit avec le t\u00e9moignage d&rsquo;une source proche de la famille, qui r\u00e9v\u00e8le que Christmas aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 interpell\u00e9 par la police dans la nuit du vendredi avant d&rsquo;\u00eatre rel\u00e2ch\u00e9 peu apr\u00e8s. Les conditions de cette interpellation et son \u00e9tat \u00e0 la sortie de garde \u00e0 vue demeurent inconnus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La compagne et une sc\u00e8ne domestique complexe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;enqu\u00eate s&rsquo;int\u00e9resse \u00e9galement au contexte domestique. Christmas cohabitait avec sa compagne, une citoyenne irlando-nig\u00e9riane. C&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ailleurs cette derni\u00e8re qui aurait alert\u00e9 la police, non pas pour une dispute, mais pour r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer ses affaires, estimant peut-\u00eatre le climat d\u00e9l\u00e9t\u00e8re. Les forces de l&rsquo;ordre se seraient rendues sur place sans elle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Une communaut\u00e9 exigeante<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour obtenir justice et v\u00e9rit\u00e9, la communaut\u00e9 a lanc\u00e9 une initiative de financement participatif afin de soutenir les frais d&rsquo;enqu\u00eate et d&rsquo;avocats.
