Kinshasa, 29 octobre 2025<\/strong> \u2013 \u00c0 l’occasion du 29\u1d49 anniversaire de l’assassinat de Mgr Christophe Munzihirwa, ancien archev\u00eaque de Bukavu, le pr\u00e9sident F\u00e9lix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo a adress\u00e9 un message poignant aux populations du Nord et Sud-Kivu, m\u00ealant hommage aux martyrs, reconnaissance des souffrances et promesse d’un avenir pacifi\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hommage aux figures embl\u00e9matiques de la r\u00e9sistance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans son allocution, le chef de l’\u00c9tat a salu\u00e9 la m\u00e9moire de Mgr Munzihirwa, assassin\u00e9 en 1996, le d\u00e9crivant comme \u00ab\u00a0le premier d’une longue lign\u00e9e de Congolais tomb\u00e9s pour avoir d\u00e9fendu la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et la souverainet\u00e9 du pays\u00a0\u00bb. Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9voqu\u00e9 les figures de Mgr Emmanuel Kataliko et Mgr Kambale Mbogha, d’autres pr\u00e9lats victimes des violences des r\u00e9bellions dans l’Est.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Octobre, mois des \u00ab\u00a0cicatrices de l’histoire\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour F\u00e9lix Tshisekedi, le mois d’octobre symbolise les \u00ab\u00a0cicatrices de l’histoire\u00a0\u00bb du Kivu, marqu\u00e9e par \u00ab\u00a0trois d\u00e9cennies d’agressions, de d\u00e9placements forc\u00e9s et d’occupations\u00a0\u00bb, mais aussi par \u00ab\u00a0la r\u00e9silience d’un peuple rest\u00e9 debout\u00a0\u00bb. Il a soulign\u00e9 que le processus de b\u00e9atification de Mgr Munzihirwa, en cours \u00e0 Rome, incarne une exigence morale : \u00ab\u00a0dire la v\u00e9rit\u00e9, prot\u00e9ger les plus faibles et refuser toute forme de compromission\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reconnaissance des forces de d\u00e9fense<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le pr\u00e9sident a rendu hommage aux Forces arm\u00e9es, aux services de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, aux leaders religieux et coutumiers, ainsi qu’aux jeunes r\u00e9sistants Wazalendo pour leur engagement dans la d\u00e9fense du territoire national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Message d’espoir et de solidarit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

S’adressant directement aux habitants des zones conflictuelles, F\u00e9lix Tshisekedi a assur\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0L’\u00c9tat ne vous a pas oubli\u00e9s. Ce que vous vivez \u00e0 l’Est n’est pas votre probl\u00e8me, c’est le n\u00f4tre \u00e0 tous. Tant qu’une seule partie du territoire souffre, c’est la R\u00e9publique enti\u00e8re qui souffre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engagement pour la paix<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur le plan politique et diplomatique, il a affirm\u00e9 poursuivre les d\u00e9marches pour \u00ab\u00a0un cessez-le-feu durable, le retrait des forces \u00e9trang\u00e8res et le retour des d\u00e9plac\u00e9s dans la dignit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. Concluant sur une note r\u00e9solument optimiste, il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0La paix n’est plus une promesse lointaine. Elle est une direction, et nous y allons. La R\u00e9publique est avec vous. L’\u00c9tat est avec vous. Je suis avec vous.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce message intervient dans un contexte s\u00e9curitaire encore volatile dans l’Est de la RDC, mais t\u00e9moigne de la volont\u00e9 pr\u00e9sidentielle de maintenir un lien direct avec les populations \u00e9prouv\u00e9es de cette r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
