Dans l\u2019est de la RDC, alors que l’AFC\/M23 – soutenu par le Rwanda \u2013 s\u2019est retir\u00e9 cette semaine de plusieurs localit\u00e9s de la plaine de la Ruzizi et des hauts plateaux dans le sud Kivu, l\u2019organisation de d\u00e9fense des droits de l\u2019homme Human Rights Watch (HRW) accuse le groupe arm\u00e9 et les forces rwandaises d\u2019exactions lors de la prise et l\u2019occupation d\u2019Uvira en d\u00e9cembre 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le M23 et des \u00e9l\u00e9ments des forces rwandaises sont entr\u00e9s dans Uvira (RDC<\/a><\/strong>) le 10 d\u00e9cembre 2025 apr\u00e8s plusieurs jours de combats contre l\u2019arm\u00e9e congolaise – et les milices wazalendo alli\u00e9es – et ont occup\u00e9 la ville pendant un mois. Selon HRW, leurs combattants y ont commis de graves violations du droit international humanitaire, dont beaucoup constituent des crimes de guerre<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon des t\u00e9moignages recueillis par HRW, ces combattants tirent sur des civils qui tentent de fuir, notamment sur des hommes et des gar\u00e7ons accus\u00e9s d\u2019appartenir aux milices wazalendo. Un t\u00e9moin relate comment son fr\u00e8re, sa femme et leurs deux enfants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 abattus, dans le quartier de Kavim-vira, alors qu’ils tentaient d’atteindre le Burundi voisin.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ex\u00e9cutions sommaires et viols<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Un autre raconte comment ces combattants ont tir\u00e9 sur des p\u00eacheurs dans le port du quartier de Kasenga depuis les toit de b\u00e2timents. Le rapport de HRW, fait \u00e9galement \u00e9tat d’ex\u00e9cutions sommaires et de viols, alors que le M23 et les forces rwandaises allaient de maison en maison, notamment dans les quartiers de Kasenga et de Rugenge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, l’organisation rapporte des enl\u00e8vements et des disparition d’hommes et de gar\u00e7ons \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la base militaire d’Uvira qui ont probablement \u00e9t\u00e9 recrut\u00e9s de force par le M23<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
